The exact sequence, the decision logic, and the failure controls.
This manual is for a serious owner who has already accepted the conceptual case for physical metal and now needs a precise operating sequence for account setup, verification, custody, borrowing, lending, cash movement, collateral defense, maturity, and exit.
What the playbook covers
Price exposure versus property, jurisdictional diversification, Singapore, estate and reporting questions.
Specific title records, parcels, grams, audit infrastructure, authentication, insurance, vault ownership, and concentration risk.
Personal, joint, trust, company, retirement, and multi-account control with explicit borrowing distinctions.
Preparation, registration, declarations, 2FA, S.T.A.R. verification, source-of-funds documentation, and recovery controls.
S.T.A.R. Parcels versus Grams, buying for storage, transfer-in, title records, and collateral inventory.
Bilateral contracts, customizable terms, four start dates, simple interest, fees, LTVs, liens, liquidation, and Reserve Fund limits.
Eligibility, calculation, accepting a lender offer, posting a request, selecting collateral, withdrawing proceeds, monitoring, repayment, rollover, and missed settlement.
Funding the P2P balance, accepting requests, creating offers, partial fills, cancellation, yield, maturity, and lender risk.
Conservative and maximum-LTV gold, longer-term silver, six-month and one-month lending, rollover, and late-bridge examples.
Borrower dashboard, Singapore-time calendar, wire-fraud control, records, quarterly review, exit, and a 30-day plan.
Account-type distinctions that affect implementation
| Account | Typical use | Borrowing position in reviewed materials |
|---|---|---|
| Personal | Individually owned metal | Eligible after S.T.A.R. approval and eligible collateral. |
| Joint | Two named owners | Listed as eligible. |
| Trust | Trust-owned metal managed by authorized persons | Certain trusts may borrow, subject to ownership and approval. |
| Company | Entity treasury or storage | Reviewed borrower guide states company accounts cannot borrow. |
| Retirement | IRA LLC, self-directed IRA, superannuation, or similar | Not listed as borrower-eligible; specialist legal review required. |
The borrower workflow
- Select the legal owner and complete S.T.A.R. verification.
- Own eligible parcels or grams and keep a collateral inventory.
- Set currency, term, rate, principal, and a personal LTV below the maximum.
- Accept a lending offer or post a borrowing request.
- Review the contract, start date, maturity date, fees, lien, and liquidation rules.
- Receive proceeds into the P2P balance, then request the permitted transfer or use.
- Monitor collateral coverage and cash in Singapore time.
- Repay in full, obtain a new matched loan, or execute the written contingency before maturity.
The lender workflow
- Complete S.T.A.R. approval and fund the P2P balance from a permitted same-name bank account.
- Accept a borrowing request or create a lending offer.
- Set principal, currency, term, rate, validity, and partial-fill preference.
- Calculate net yield after the administration fee, wires, FX, idle days, and tax.
- Save the bilateral contract and monitor start and maturity.
- Withdraw, buy metal, pay eligible charges, or relend only after funds settle.
Specific safeguards
- Bank account numbers are intentionally omitted from the static manual; the reader must retrieve live instructions from an authenticated source.
- Rollover is treated as a new, unguaranteed loan, not as an extension right.
- The Reserve Fund is treated as conditional temporary liquidity, not as a government guarantee.
- Every example separates platform maximums from the reader's lower personal risk limit.
- Borrower and lender checklists are designed for repeated operational use.
Why this is priced as a professional manual
The value is not a list of menu clicks. It is the integration of legal-owner selection, source-document discipline, collateral arithmetic, cash-flow timing, risk thresholds, wire controls, and maturity procedures into one field manual. The user should be able to hand the operating checklists to a spouse, trustee, administrator, or adviser and explain exactly how the position is meant to function.
